Samrat Prithviraj, starring Akshay Kumar, is all set to stream the Amazon Prime video within a month of its theatrical release. The film hit the theaters on 03 June 2022. Now, it is set to be released on the streaming site Amazon prime on 01 July 2022.
The film Samrat Prithviraj was made on the budget of Rs. 200 crore. But the film failed to cross even Rs. 100 crore at the Indian box office.
In a statement, Akshay Kumar said, “I have never played such a big historical role in my career of thirty years. I am proud to be able to write the character of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan on screen. I am delighted to bring this epic story to every home through the Amazon Prime video from 01 July 2022 and through this medium a great Indian warrior and mighty emperor.” The film, which marks the Bollywood debut of beauty queen Manushi Chiller, fell miserably at the box office.
