Once again, the weekend is here, which makes it the ideal time for you to relax and watch a few recent additions to your streaming library. We have you covered for anything from “Iratta” to “The Legend”.

Alone is now streaming on Disney+Hotstar

Mohanlal’s most recent movie, “Alone,” was made with veteran filmmaker Shaji Kailas, who made a comeback to directing with “Kaduva” and “Kaapa” last year. The main character of the movie is a guy by the name of Kalidasan who moves into an apartment in Kochi. Gradually, a string of bizarre occurrences, including writing on the mirror and unusual noises within the apartment, persuade him that the previous occupants had suffered a terrible tragedy. Although there is just one character in the film, Mohanlal, other characters are hinted at via phone chats with Kalidasan. The film premiered on January 26.

‘Iratta’ is now streaming on Netflix

The mystery thriller “Iratta,” directed by Rohit M. G. Krishnan, centres on the death of a police officer. Actor Joju George plays two parts in the movie. A police officer is discovered deceased inside a police station one day while on duty. An investigation is started to determine who is responsible since he did not get along with several of the police officers at the station. The senior detectives looking into the case quickly came to the conclusion that his identical brother, who also works at the same police station, was likely the murderer. The movie debuted in theatres on February 3.

‘The Legend’ is streaming on Disney+Hotstar on March 3

Saravanan Arul plays the protagonist in the movie, which is set to hit theatres in the middle of 2022. Though many people in Kerala may not be familiar with him, the businessman-turned-actor has a sizable network of establishments in Tamil Nadu. With the release of “The Legend,” he made his cinematic debut. It centres on a researcher with international training who resolves to explore diabetes treatment following the loss of a close friend. But, the pharma mafia is furious about this.
