This will be Anirudh’s first time singing for a Vijay film that does not feature his music.
Even as Ranjithame, the first single from Vijay’s Varisu, is not only making all the right noises, but also breaking records, there is talk of a blockbuster reunion for the second single.
If rumours are to be believed, Anirudh Ravichander will sing Varisu’s second single. After singing for Vijay in films such as Kaththi, Master, and Beast, in which Anirudh also served as composer, this will be the first time he will be singing for a Vijay film that does not feature his music.
Varisu, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, features music by S Thaman. This is Vijay and Thaman’s first collaboration.
Varisu is a film written by Vamshi, Hari, and Ashishor Solomon and produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead in Varisu, which also stars Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Sangeetha, and Samyuktha.
Sri Harshith Reddy and Sri Hanshitha serve as co-producers of the film, which will be released in Telugu as Varasudu, with Karthick Palani as cinematographer and KL Praveen as editor.
