David Warner became the second player to accomplish the milestone in his 100th Test match when he made a double century on Day 2 of the second Test between Australia and South Africa.

The feat was only accomplished by Joe Root, who did it against India in February 2021.
This was Warner’s third 200-plus score in a foreign test. On his approach to the double hundred in the boxing day Test, Warner overcame cramping.
After hitting the milestone, the left-handed hitter departed the game in pain because his hamstring issue remained.
Australia comfortably defeated South Africa’s first-inning score of 189 because to Warner’s performance, and on Day 2 the margin was increased by more than 100 runs.
In their historic 100th outing in whites, Warner, 36, had earlier been just the 10th batsman and second Australian in Test history to achieve a hundred. During the innings, Warner also passed the 8000-run threshold for Tests.
