Harris Jayaraj composed the music and background score for the film, marking his seventh collaboration with director Menon since their debut film “Minnale” in 2001. This partnership continued through all of Menon’s films until they temporarily split, later reuniting for “Yennai Arindhaal.” The untitled song featured in the first teaser was both written and sung by Aaryan Dinesh Kanagaratnam and Sri Rascol.
The initial song recorded for the film was “Oru Manam,” as revealed by Menon in June 2018. Despite claims that the song would be released by the end of November 2018, delays in film production caused a setback. A year later, in September 2020, there were reports of plans to release the song in October. Details emerged that the song, with lyrics by Thamarai, would be sung by Karthik and Shashaa Tirupati.
On October 7, 2020, Sony Music, having acquired the film’s audio rights, released the video song and its single track on digital platforms. The song garnered a tremendous response from listeners, who praised Jayaraj for the soothing composition and melodious tunes.
In February 2023, Jayaraj officially started composing the background score for the film. On 19 July 2023, the second single, titled “His Name Is John,” was unveiled. A noteworthy event occurred in July 2023 when a lyric video of “Oru Manam” was reissued, featuring segments of Aishwarya Rajesh’s vocals removed from the song. Subsequently, on 4 November, the third single, “Naracha Mudi,” made its debut. Finally, on 24 November, the tracks “Arugil” and “Part of Me” were released.
