After a brief run in theatres, actress Malavika Mohanan’s return Malayalam film Christy, in which she played the lead, is preparing for its OTT release. The film, directed by Alvin Henry, is based on a true event and was written by renowned authors Benyamin and GR Indugopan.
Malavika is joined in the cast of Christy by Mathew Thomas, Joy Mathew, Sminu Sijo, Vineeth Vishwam, Rajesh Madhavan, Neena Kurup, and Veena Nair. In 2022, the movie was filmed in Poovar, Thiruvananthapuram, and the Maldives.

A teenage boy named Roy, who falls in love with his tutor Christy, is the focus of the film.
