Following the success of “Kalakalappu 2”, actors Jiiva and Shiva are joining hands together for director Ponkumaran’s upcoming comedy film “Golmaal”. Ponkumaran, a former assistant to the directors K. Bhagyaraj and K.S. Ravikumar. He has previously written the story and screenplay for Super Star Rajinikanth’s film “Linga”. Cinematography for the film Golmaal is handled by S. Saravanan. Editing by Don Bosco. Music for the film is composed by Arul Dev.
Golmaal is director Ponkumaran’s first live Tamil film, with the support of Vinod Jain of “Jaguar Studios”. This is the Ponkumaran’s first direct Tamil film, after directing the successful Kannada films including Tamil, Kannada bilingual, Charulatha and Golmaal.
Golmaal will also mark the Tamil debut of actress Payal Rajput, working with Dharala Prabhu fame Tanya Hope. The film has a strong cast of actors. For the first time, famous Kannada star Sadhu Kokila is making his full fledged Tamil debut with this film Golmaal.
Now, the first look poster of the film “Golmaal” has been released. The film also features Murali Sharma, Yogi Babu, Sonia Aggarwal, Manobala, Karunakaran, Ramesh Khanna, Naren, George Mariyan, Sanjana Singh, Rajendran, Panju Subbu, Sadhu Gokila, Vipin Sidharth and K.S.G. Venkatesh. The film crew has planned to release the film in 2022.
