Gangubai Kathiyawadi is a 2022 Indian Hindi language biopic crime drama film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and produced by Jayanthilal Kada and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film stars Alia Bhatt in the title character, Chandan Maheshwari, Vijay Ross, Indira Tiwari and Seema Pahwa in the lead roles, while Ajay Devgan plays the extended cameo appearance. The story takes place in the life of the young Ganga, who at any time marks his own territory and becomes a madam in the red light area of Gangubai – Kamathipura.

With each passing day, the film’s box office gross increased, and it has now surpassed the Rs. 100 crore mark. Recently, it was announced that Gangubai Kathiawadi, a Netflix original series, would release after eight weeks rather than the four-week limit that is now in effect in the UAE.
The OTT release date of the film has been postponed and now the film is scheduled to stream on Netflix in the last week of April.
