Actor Super Star Rajinikanth is teaming up with director Nelson Dilipkumar for his 169th film in Tamil cinema industry. The much awaited and anticipated film which has been tentatively titled “Thalaivar 169”. Thalaivar 169 has been set to hit the theatres in April 2023 on the occasion of the Tamil New Year.
According to sources in the tamil cinema industry, senior director K.S. Ravikumar is currently co-producing the script for “Thalaivar 169” with Nelson Dilipkumar. Weekly meetings with superstar Rajinikanth, director K.S. Ravikumar helps Nelson to complete the screenplay.
Filming for the film is expected to take place in August and is expected to be completed by the end of this year. Anirudh has composed the music for the film and sources said that Priyanka Mohan will be starring in the rope. The crew plans to release the first look on December 12, Rajinikanth’s birthday this year.
