Anudeep KV’s romantic comedy will premiere on Disney + Hotstar.
Finally, it is a fact! The final romantic comedy from Sivakarthikeyan, Prince, is scheduled to premiere on Disney + Hotstar on November 25. The news was officially announced by the digital platform on its official social media account, which read: “Bimbilikki Pilapi #Prince streaming on #Disneyplushotstar from 25th November @Siva Kartikeyan @anudeepfilm @maria ryab @SureshProdns @SVCLLP @ShanthiTalkies @manojdft @Cinemainmygenes #Sathyaraj @Premgiamaren @ The movie’s digital premiere date was the subject of numerous rumours up until this point.
In Prince, Sivakarthikeyan and Jathi Ratnalu director Anudeep KV work together for the first time. This is his second movie. Maria Ryaboshapka, a Ukrainian actress and model, makes her acting debut in the Tamil film industry in Prince. Sathyaraj, Premgi Amaren, VTV Ganesh, and Subbu Panchu are also featured in the star cast, as well as Soori and Anandraj in cameo roles.
The music for the movie was composed by Prince and Thaman, who is working with the actor for the first time. Manoj Paramahamsa is responsible for the cinematography, and Praveen KL is in charge of the editing. The story centres on a teacher, Sivakarthikeyan, who develops feelings for a foreigner. The majority of the movie was filmed in Puducherry. As a Diwali release, Prince competed with PS Mithran’s spy thriller Sardar, which starred Karthi.
Interestingly, Sivakarthikeyan’s debut release for Diwali was Prince. Suniel Narang, D Suresh Babu, and Pushkar Ram Mohan Rao co-financed the movie. Prince, on the other hand, debuted to unfavourable reviews and failed to make the cash registers ring.
Don and Doctor, Sivakarthikeyan’s previous films, both performed well at the box office. While Nelson Dilipkumar directed Doctor and Priyanka Arul Mohan played the lead role, the lead duo reunited for Cibi Chakaravarthi’s debut film Don. Sivakarthikeyan is currently working on his subsequent Maveeran with Madonne Ashwin, a director who has won a National Award.
