KGF: Chapter 2 has the same impact as its predecessor. The film has already grossed over Rs.500 crore at the box office and has received many positive reviews. The sequel stars veteran Bollywood stars Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon in the lead roles. Tandon recently opened up about how she came to be a part of the Neel’s directorial.
In a conversation, actress Tandon revealed that she was approached for the role while working on the first part. Neel described what he had in mind for Tandon’s character in the sequel to the film. He also said that he would like to add some scenes of that character in KGF: Chapter 1.
Tandon was reluctant to say yes to the role when Neel admitted that he did not panned out the character completely in the sequel. But seeing Neel’s faith, honesty and the vision he had in mind of what he was doing, Tandon accepted the role a few days later. “When a filmmaker is sitting in front of you, if he clearly knows what he wants in his mind, then there’s no two ways that you won’t be a part of the project.
The actress also talked about collaborating with Sanjay Dutt in the film. Tandon said they had no scenes together to talk about and did not have time to meet each other on set. But despite all that, she said working with Sanjay Dutt was always so much fun.

Raveena Tandon is an Indian actress, model and Producer who works in Hindi films. She is the daughter of director Ravi Tandon. Born and raised in Mumbai. She started her career as a model. Later made her acting debut in the action film Patthar Ke Phool(1991), which won her the Filmfare Award for New Face of the Year. She has worked in Bollywood, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada cinemas.
