Ponniyin Selvan is a historical film directed by Mani Ratnam. Music composed by A.R. Rahman. This film features Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, and others. The first part of the film is slated to release on 30 September 2022 next month.
Although it is being made in Tamil, the film will be released in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi as a Pan India film. Now, The film crew has announced that the film is going to be screened in ‘IMAX’ format as well. This is the first Tamil film to be released in ‘IMAX’ format.
There are special theaters and screens to screen films in the form of IMAX. The size of IMAX screens is larger than the size of conventional screens. The world’s largest IMAX theatre is in Germany and it is 44 meters wide and 23 meters high. Watching blockbuster films like Ponniyin Selvan in IMAX theatres will give us a unique experience.
