The internet is rife with rumours that Mrunal Thakur, who rose to fame in the south after Sita Ramam’s success, is about to make her Kollywood debut. The actress has reportedly been cast as one of the female leads in the upcoming Siruthai Siva film starring Suriya.
According to reports, Mrunal Thakur will make an appearance in the flashback scenes, and her role there will be significant. But when we got in touch with the movie’s producer, KE Gnanavel Raja, to ask if Mrunal was in it, he dismissed the rumours as untrue. Suriya 42, billed as a historical fantasy film with a large star cast, is being produced on a grand scale. Disha Patani, a popular Bollywood actress, makes her Tamil cinema debut with this project. Ten languages are being used for the film’s release.
Mrunal Thakur started filming her Telugu movie yesterday, which stars Nani in the lead position. The movie, which Shouryuv directed, is described as an affecting family drama.
