My Dear Bootham movie review

The films released based on children in Tamil cinema is decreasing nowadays. My Dear Bootham movie has been released to solve that problem. My Dear Bootham is a fantasy comedy film. Produced by Abhishek Films and Ramesh Pillai. It is written and directed by N. Ragavan. The film stars Ashwanth Ashokumar, Remya Nambeesan and Prabhu Deva.

Prabhudeva, who lives in another world, has been without the boon of a child for a long time. Later a son is also born to him and both are living happily. Prabhudeva’s son accidentally awakens a penitent sage. Enraged by this, the sage curses Prabhudeva and sends him to earth. He also says that he should recite the mantra to free Prabhu Deva. Centuries later Prabhu Deva is found in Ashwanth hands on earth. But Ashwanth has a vocal chord problem. Due to this problem, he couldn’t speak properly. Did Ashwanth eventually free Prabhudeva by chanting that mantra? Did Prabhudeva join with his son? Tells the story of My dear Bootham.

My Dear Bootham is a movie made entirely for children. Director Ragavan has gone into their world and seen the things they enjoy. Prabhu Deva has done everything the director has told him to do without the slightest objection. He has taken a step down from his usual performance and performed well.

Prabhu Deva has given everything to the character, from shaving his head to showcase his acting. Ashwanth has played his role very well, what they have given to him in this film. Remya Nambeesan who plays Ashwanth’s mother has given a realistic performance.

Although the film is full of graphic scenes, it is undeniably good. Although there is nothing new in the story, the director has tried to add interest to the visuals and has succeeded to some extent. Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary V. Irai Anbu I.A.S. has acted in a special appearance in the film. Cinematography, background music, editing are all perfect for the film.
