National Film Awards 2022 list of winners: Suriya and Ajay Devgn share best actor; Soorarai Pottru wins big

he winners of the 68th National Film Awards were announced in New Delhi. Established in 1954, the prestigious awards are administered by the Directorate of Film Festivals, Government of India. Films from 2020 were honored in several categories at this year’s festival.

The 10-member jury was chaired by filmaker Vipul Shah. He met Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur and presented a report on the 68th National Film Awards. Anurag Thakur said, “I would like to congratulate all the jury members and all those who reviewed their works, I would also like to congratulate the National Film Award recipients. Kudos to all for their outstanding job.”
