Based on Kalki’s famous novel “Ponniyin Selvan”, the movie “Ponniyin Selvan” was made in two parts and directed by Maniratnam. The first part of the film is coming out soon and is scheduled to hit the screens on the 30 September 2022. Ponniyin Selvan features Jayamravi, Vikram, Karthi, Sarathkumar, Parthiban, Jayaraman, Aishwarya Rai and Trisha. The trailer of the film was released recently and received a good response from the fans.
In this situation, it has been reported that Ponniyin Selvan film has been bought by Amazon OTT site for Rs.125 crores. Also, it is noteworthy that, no film has ever been bought for such a huge price.
