Actor Suriya recently made headlines when he and director Bala parted ways on the set of the movie “Vanangaan.” According to rumours, there were creative issues between the actor and the director. In this case, a fresh rumour surfaced on social media yesterday night, claiming that the actor also intends to bow out of the Vetrimaaran-helmed movie “Vaadivaasal.” The movie’s producer, Kalaipuli S Thanu, has, however, refuted the rumours.
Producer Thanu allegedly told national media that the rumours are untrue in a statement, adding that the movie’s pre-production work is already underway and that filming will start shortly. Additionally, he stated that Vetrimaaran would begin working on “Vaadivasal” after finishing his schedule for the Vijay Sethupathi and Soori starrer “Viduthalai,” which is now keeping him busy. The formal announcements surrounding “Vaadivaasal” will be made shortly, according to producer Thanu. In addition to Suriya, Andrea and Ameer are rumoured to join the cast of the film, while GV Prakash Kumar has created the soundtrack.
Suriya and Vetrimaaran work together for the first time on the film “Vaadivaasal,” which is based on the CS Chellapa novel of the same name. The tale revolves around the rural bull sport known as “Jallikattu.”
In terms of work, Suriya is now shooting for the film with the working title “Suriya 42” with director Siva. Disha Patani will portray the female protagonist. In Chennai, the movie is presently being filmed.
