Samantha Ruth Prabhu, an actress who was most recently featured in “Yashoda,” has started shooting for her forthcoming spy action series “Citadel.” Samantha is a character in the fictional “Citadel” series by the Russo Brothers that is set in India. Varun Dhawan will appear in the Raj and DK-produced television series alongside Samantha.
‘The Family Man’ creator duo Raj & DK, who are directing the film posted, “Super excited to team up with this powerhouse once again! Welcome @Samanthaprabhu2 to the world of Citadel! Now filming 🎬” (sic)
Under Mumbai, the television series is now in production. The unit will reportedly move on to locations in northern India after that, then to Serbia and South Africa. According to rumours, Varun and Samantha would both portray chic spies in the Raj and DK series. This will be the first time Samantha and Varun Dhawan will share a screen in an Indian television programme with an international audience.
