Recap of Previous Events in Secret Invasion

The episode commenced with Gravik unveiling his plans to the Skrulls, revealing his intention to utilize collected DNA for the creation of Super-Skrulls with extraordinary abilities. Additionally, he confessed to orchestrating a covert operation involving rebels infiltrating the navy, intending to launch missiles at a UN aircraft.

The scene then transitioned to a conversation between Gravik and Talos, which quickly escalated into tense negotiations as Gravik issued menacing threats towards G’iah. However, unbeknownst to Gravik, G’iah bravely sent confidential information to Talos regarding the planned navy attack. Meanwhile, Fury reluctantly sought Talos’ aid in thwarting Gravik’s dangerous scheme.

In their quest for crucial information, Fury and Talos approached Falsworth, who provided them with the identity of Commodore Robert Fairbanks, the officer in charge of the Naval Command. Taking matters into their own hands, Fury and Talos infiltrated Fairbanks’s residence and subjected him to intense interrogation, eventually uncovering his true identity as a Skrull. In a heated moment, Fairbanks deliberately provoked Talos, leading to his demise.

Talos subsequently contacted G’iah, who successfully acquired Fairbanks’s authorization code, enabling them to prevent the missile launch. However, Gravik responded violently to G’iah’s attempt to escape, suspecting her of betrayal and leaving her injured after shooting her. The episode concluded with Priscilla’s unsuccessful plea for assistance from a mysterious individual, as Gravik denied her request.
