Based on the famous late author Kalki Krishnamurthy’s novel “Ponniyin Selvan”, Director Mani Ratnam is directing the film of the same name “Ponniyin Selvan” in two parts. The film team had already announced that the first part will be released on 30 September 2022.
This film is produced by Lyca Productions. The legendary composer A.R. Rahman has composed the music. At Ponniyin Selvan teaser event, director Mani Ratnam, music director A.R. Rahman, actors Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi and others were present. Actor Chiyaan Vikram did not participate in this teaser event due to health reasons. In this case, the film crew has released a stunning video about Ponniyin Selvan. In the video, Vikram is dubbing for his character “Adiththa Chola”.
