Vetrimaran, who is emerging as a leading director of Tamil cinema, is currently directing the film “Viduthalai” starring Soori as the protagonist. The film is being made based on the short story of writer Jayamohan’s “Thunaivan”. Bhavani Shree is playing opposite Soori in this film. The film’s soundtrack is composed by Ilaiyaraaja in his maiden collaboration with Vetrimaaran.
