Liger is a sports drama film written and directed by Puri Jagannath. While Vijay Deverakonda will make his Bollywood debut with this Liger film. Ananya Pandey will make her Telugu debut. The film is co-produced by Puri Jagannath, Charmme Kaur and Karan Johar. Vijay Deverakonda plays a boxer in the film. Boxing legend Mike Tyson has been roped in for a cameo in the film. Liger stars Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy and Makarand Deshpande in lead roles.

On 21 July 2022, the trailer will be released in five languages. Vijay Devarakonda, Ananya Pandey and the rest of the Liger team will attend the trailer launch event on 21 July 2022 in Hyderabad and Mumbai. The Hyderabad event will be held at Sudarshan Theatre at 9.30 am. The Mumbai event will be held at Cinepolis Andheri at 7.30 pm.
