Waltair Veerayya has outperformed several box office forecasters’ predictions and is having a great opening weekend. The songs by Devi Sri Prasad, which were mocked before the movie’s debut, have become anthems for theatregoers. After Khaidi No 150, Chiranjeevi went through a slump, but he has now added another hit to his second innings. Ravi Teja had a pivotal part in the Bobby Kolli-written and -directed movie, which starred Shruti Haasan as the female protagonist.

Waltair Veerayya’s OTT rights have also been bought by streaming juggernaut Netflix, similar to Chiranjeevi’s earlier film Godfather. In the second or third week of February, the movie is anticipated to be released on the major streaming service. In addition to Urvashi Rautela, who appears in a song, the action comedy also stars Nasser, Prakash Raj, Bobby Simha, Rajendra Prasad, Shakalaka Shankar, Srinivas Reddy, Catherine Tresa, and other A-list actors.

Waltair Veerayya’s narrative, which is set in Vizag, begins when a few RAW operatives capture notorious criminal Solomon Ceaser (Bobby Simha) and imprison him. To bring Solomon back, the police enlist the aid of the local messiah Waltair Veerayya (Chiranjeevi) when he escapes and goes to Malaysia. Veerayya, however, has a private reason for capturing Solomon. Waltair Veerayya presents an enjoyable yet recognisable blend of feelings, humour, romance, and action.

The film’s editor was Niranjan Devaramane, and the photographer was Arthur A. Wilson. All of the tracks on the album were master choreographed by Sekhar, with production design done by AS Prakash. The action scenes were written by Ram-Lakshman, a well-known stunt director team, Kona Venkat, and K Chakravarthy Reddy. The outfits were created by Sushmita Konidela, Chiranjeevi’s daughter.
