The family way has been announced by director Atlee and his wife Priya. “We are happy to announce that we are pregnant and we appreciate your support and love,” Priya and Atlee posted on their social media accounts.
After being romantically involved for a while, the pair wed on November 9, 2014, in a lavish wedding in Chennai. The couple has a different fan base since they frequently post cuddly photos of themselves on social media.
“We appreciate the love and support you have given us throughout the years, and we ask that you continue to do so by loving our child as well. With all of your blessings, we are eager to start this wonderful journey of bringing our little bundle of joy into the world, they wrote in a note.
Theri, Mersal, and Bigil are three of the director’s subsequent films, all of which feature actor Vijay. The director is a former associate of unconventional filmmaker Shankar. He made his directorial debut in 2013 with the well-liked romance drama Raja Rani. He is now regarded as one of Tamil cinema’s top commercial film producers as a result of the commercial success of all these movies.
Along with starting a production company, Atlee and Priya, a former actress, have also produced the horror comedy Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae from 2017 and the horror thriller Andhagaaram, which had its direct OTT debut in 2020.
Atlee is currently filming Jawaan, his first Bollywood production, which stars Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara.
