Sneakerella is an American musical comedy film directed by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum. Written by David Light & Joseph Raso, Tamara Chestna, Mindy Stern, and George Gore II. A re-imagining of the classic fairy tale Cinderella. The film stars Chosen Jacobs and Lexi Underwood. Produced by Disney Channel and Jane Startz Productions. Cinematography done by Matt Sakatani Roe. Editing for the film was done by Ishai Setton. Music by Elvin Ross.
After falling in love with Kira King, the daughter of basketball star and sneaker superstar Darius King, the aspiring Queen sneaker designer gains hope to pursue her dream of becoming an entrepreneur (professional sneaker designer) with the help of his best friend, Sami, and his Fairy Godfather. The story of the film was adapted from Cinderella story.
The film will be released on Disney+ on 13 May 2022.
