Gargi movie review: Sai Pallavi shines in this tense drama on sexual abuse, delivers an excellent performance

Gargi is a movie directed by Gautham Ramachandran starring Sai Pallavi. Sai Pallavi plays a school teacher in this film. His father works as a security guard in an apartment. A girl living in that apartment is gang raped by 4 northerners. As 5th person, Sai Pallavi’s father is also arrested. The film revolves around the character Gargi’s struggle to get his father innocent and get him out. What happens in the climax to take up that case. The story of the film is to reveal who the real culprit is until the last tragic moment. what kind of problems does a middle class family face? How did Sai Pallavi prove that he is legally innocent and saved his father through all this? Tells the rest of the story of the film.

Likewise, even if transgender people study and become judges. How does this society view them? Also about the problems faced by a person’s family if they are wrongfully involved in a case, is strongly said in this film Gargi. All in all, Gargi is a must watch movie.

Sai Pallavi plays the role of school teacher Gargi. The scenes of her fighting for his father alone till the end, when the whole world has given up, are amazing. There is no doubt that this film will fetch many awards for Sai Pallavi who has always chosen good stories. In the scene where she sits and talks to the victim in the last climax, she is so far away from acting that no one but Sai Pallavi can act like that.

Saipallavi has played a very realistic, simple, woman without a drop of make-up. Kali Venkat, who has acted as a character actor in many films, has appeared as a lawyer in the film. He has shown his performance realistically. Also Jayaprakash, Aishwarya Lakshmi have acted in the roles well what they have given.

Each and every scene in gargi is tailored to the film. Sai Pallavi’s lawyer Kali Venkat’s character in this film is well crafted. His performance also adds strength to the film. Similarly, the role of a transgender as a judge is also special. The film will surely raise many debates about the increasing number of crimes against women day by day. The film Gargi is an echo of the problems faced by women especially children.

Gargi – Must watch
