The Mother Teresa Award is presented every year by the Mumbai-based Harmony Foundation for environmental protection. Bollywood actress and UN Environment Envoy Dia Mirza and environmentalist Afroz Shah were announced with the Mother Teresa Award. The award ceremony took place and the Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari was the Chief Guest. Dia Mirza is a leading actress of Bollywood. She continues to work for environmental improvement. She has received many awards for this.
The awards, instituted by the Harmony Foundation, were presented to Dia Mirza and Afroz Shah for their outstanding work in protecting the environment. Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari presented the Mother Teresa Memorial Award 2021 to actor and UN Goodwill Ambassador for Environment Dia Mirza. Also, Governor presented the award to UN Champion of the Earth awardee Afroz Shah at Raj Bhavan Mumbai.
