Kamal Haasan, who is currently enjoying the success of his most recent film, Vikram, will soon appear on television. The actor’s return to television as the host of Bigg Boss Tamil’s sixth season was confirmed by Vijay Television.
Using their respective Twitter accounts, the actor-politician and the Tamil TV network shared the promo for the upcoming season of the reality show on Monday. The veteran actor asks everyone if they are prepared for the hunt as he emerges from a massive double door of a haunted building in the first-ever visual promo.
Notably, the promo’s setup and BGM give away the possibility that the season’s theme will be horror. The grand premiere of the sixth season and the list of contestants are among the details that are currently under wraps but are anticipated to be revealed soon.
The producers had earlier posted asking for entries with a video, so it is likely that one of the contestants in the upcoming season will be a commoner. The show will run for a total of 100 days according to tradition, with evictions taking place each week until the big finale.
