Nope is an American science fiction horror film written, direction and co-produced by Jordan Peele under his Monkeypaw Productions banner. The film features Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer, and Steven Yeun, Brandon Perea, Michael Wincott, Wrenn Schmidt, Keith David, Donna Mills, Barbie Ferreira, Devon Graye, Eddie Jemison, Oz Perkins, Terry Notary, Andrew Patrick, Ralston and Jennifer Lafleur. Cinematography was handled by Hoyte van Hoytema. Editing was done by Nicholas Monsour. Sound track and background score by Michael Abels.
After random objects fall from the sky and the death of their father, ranch owning siblings OJ and Emerald Haywood discover video evidence of an unidentified flying object with the help of Angel Torres and Antlers Holst. The film had its premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on 18 July 2022. The film “Nope” is scheduled to be released in the United States on 22 July 2022 by Universal Pictures.
