THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS (2001)
The Fast and the Furious is a 2001 action film directed by Rob Cohen from a screenplay written by Gary Scott Thompson, David Ayer, and Erik Bergquist based on Thompson’s story. It is the first instalment in the Fast & Furious franchise, starring Paul Walker as Brian O’Conner and Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto, with Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster filling out the cast. In the film, O’Conner, a police officer, goes undercover and befriends Toretto, a local street racer, to investigate a recent spate of truck hijackings.
2 FAST 2 FURIOUS (2003)
2 Fast 2 Furious is a 2003 action film directed by John Singleton, based on a screenplay written by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas and a story written by Brandt, Haas, and Gary Scott Thompson. It is the sequel to The Fast and the Furious (2001), and it stars Paul Walker as Brian O’Conner alongside Tyrese Gibson and Eva Mendes. In the film, ex-LAPD officer Brian O’Conner and his friend Roman Pearce (Gibson) go undercover for the US Customs Service in order to apprehend a drug lord in exchange for their criminal records being cleared.
