According to Jonathan Majors, he nearly left his initial meeting with Marvel Studios.
Jonathan Majors claimed in an interview with Vanity Fair (via Deadline) that he was about to leave his first meeting with Marvel because he had been waiting for too long and they were preoccupied. He remembered the incident and said to the newspaper, “I hope this doesn’t bite me in the a**, but I walked out of my Marvel general [meeting].” Much time has passed since this. I was rushing around town after graduating from acting school while sitting in the workplace. I had a pretty specific upbringing, so I don’t want to waste anyone’s time. When I arrived, they were simply busy. I thought to myself, “I’m meant to be here, right?” It grew lengthy.
Before he could leave the premises, though, he was informed that casting director Sarah Finn would arrive. Majors explained that he stayed and spoke with Finn as a result. Also, he said that three years after this occurrence, a discussion regarding his portraying Kang had taken place.
